RAISE VALUES AND CHARTS
What is a raise?
It's a strategy to increase your value and experience with the minimal cost. By working as a group of 3 or 4 players, you reduce the cost and gain extra experience to move up in the game. This also allows you to level up faster, increasing you're income in return. Based on the amount of money the players have decides how high you can go. It is cheaper because you raise 2 players and keep only 1. You get profits from the one you raise and don't keep, profits from the one you are raising and profits from your own buys, so it much cheaper than just bidding up someone.
How does it work?
There are 2 simple raises, the 3 player and the 4 player. There are also more complex 5+ player raises, but these require major organization and planning.
3 player raise example:
Player A is raised by Player B and Player C, Player C keeps
Player B is raised by Player C and Player A, Player A keeps
Player C is raised by Player A and Player B, Player B keeps
4 Player raise example:
Player A is raised by Player B and C, Player B keeps
Player B is raised by Player A and D, Player A keeps
Player C is raised by Player B and D, Player D keeps
Player D is raised by Player A and C, Player C keeps
These systems work no matter how high the raise. You will have to caluclate in advance who is keeping who, how high and MOST IMPORTANTLY who makes the first buy.
How do you figure out who buys first?
If you use the list on this page, the bids are colour coded, so you don't have to count your way up. First you determine the value of the player being raised (not their bid price, but their actual value), then you find it on the list and determine if that amount is a red or black number. Then determine the final number you are going to raise to and see what colour that is. Then you use this formula
If the person being raised starting value is Black and.....
Ending value is Black, then raiser buys first, keeper buys second
Ending value is Red, then keeper busy first, raiser buys second
If the person being raised starting value is Red and.....
Ending value is Red, then raiser buys first, keeper buys second
Ending value is Black, then keeper buys first, raiser buys second
How much money do I need?
This is the most variable part, depending on who you are raising with. If it's a group of people with about the same amount of cash, you will generally be limited to raising to that cash amount, though the profits you make along the way, allow you to go a bit higher. If there is a player who has more money, they can be a bank for the others and allow you to go higher and if they have double the money of the others, they can hold two to allow you to go as high as double the raise amount. Best to talk to an admin about these scenarios.
How much does it cost?
This is variable You're abilities come into play here. The higher your pet and broker abilities the less the cost. Also, the higher the raise, the percentage of cost goes down slowly.
